The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has launched the new generation SmartBanking digital banking service with a modern interface and new features that allow customers to seamlessly perform financial transactions and digital services across BIDV's digital channels.

Unified Multichannel Experience:

• Integrated multichannel solution, using a single login name (registered phone number) and password across different platforms, devices: web, mobile, smartwatch, and smart keyboard.
• Online registration for new services through eKYC (Electronic Identification).
• Biometric authentication for continuous login across mobile platforms.

Personalized Experience and Customizable Interface:

• User-friendly and personalized interface with customizable wallpaper and avatar features on the application.
• Prioritize preferred functions according to preferences.

Advanced Card Services:

• Experience the new service: Cash withdrawal at ATMs via QR code.
• Top-up physical healthcare cards directly on the application.

Diverse Financial, Payment, and Shopping Services Ecosystem:

Experience modern, fast, and convenient financial services such as:

• Money transfers, scheduled transfers, online savings, online loan applications and repayments.
• Diverse online bill payment services with over 1000 different service providers.
• Air ticket/hotel reservations, online shopping, online reconciliation requests, etc.

Enhanced Security:

The new generation SmartBanking meets the security regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam with:

• Secure login and transaction authentication, especially with Smart OTP - a high-value transaction validation method.
• The application allows customers to secure their accounts through the Login from different devices/Forgot password with eKYC authentication feature. Additionally, with Cross Login technology, when customers log in on the web browser, the system will automatically send a notification to the mobile application for customer confirmation before allowing successful login.

Fee Policy:

• From January 1st, 2022, BIDV waives all transaction fees for transfers within and outside the system, service maintenance fees, default account management fees, OTT message fees, issuance fees, and lifelong annual fees for physical Phi cards issued on SmartBanking.
